Travelling to new destinations is always best shared, with like-minded travellers who are up for an adventure and want to explore a little bit of Southern Africa.

We take care of all the detail with a well-planned itinerary, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy local eateries, private tours, Spa & Wellness days, and lots of fun.

Think hand-picked accommodation, pamper days with a sprinkling of shopping, bubbly at sunset, morning walks and city bistros, exploring the wine country, indulgent food and best of all, going on Safari.

Many of us missed our ‘gap-year’ or never did that Contiki tour in our twenties for a variety of reasons; maybe we went to college or university, got married early, or jumped into our careers, became a mom... Perhaps some of us even did that gap year. We all have our stories. But now, some years have passed and you might be thinking, it is time to go exploring and to do something for yourself.

The idea of visiting somewhere new and exciting, picnicing in the vineyards, standing in awe at the majestic Table Mountain, dipping your toes into the Indian Ocean and going on a true African Safari is softly whispering to you.

And this is the reason why we have curated our Solo Ladies Small-Group Adventures. So you can go on a discovery and TRAVEL ON YOUR OWN, BUT NOT BE ALONE. Our Solo Ladies tours are all-female holidays, with like-minded adventurous woman, who want to come and explore Southern Africa. We know every woman is different and that is okay because there is flexiblity with our tours. And whether you come on your own, or with a friend, that’s okay too, as we have you covered from the moment you touch down on South African soil.

We don’t chase after a bucket list, or race around ticking off the Big Five, but rather focus on amazing experiences, fun times, space to breathe, vineyard living, good food & wine and safari days that will live with you forever.

Demographic: Women in their 40's and 50's and 60's and anywhere inbetween, fabulous & fun, curious & adventurous... And oh yes, must love food & wine.

Our Solo Ladies Small-Groups Adventures are either 9 Nights or 11 Nights, depending on the tour and season. Summertime in South Africa is from December to Februrary. Winters are mid-year. With each season bringing something special. In February we celebrate the harvest, grape stomp and dance under the moonlight.

Winter is special on safari and a highlight for many, as the days are warm, with magical clear skies and the bush is dry, so animals may be spotted a little easier - we contrast this with rainy days in the Cape, snuggled up next to warm fires wine tastings, roadtripping, sightseeing and shopping.

September ushers in spring with new babies in the bush and the whales arriving along our Cape coastline. In October, the sun comes out to play in the Cape and beautiful African rains fall in the Kruger and over the Victoria Falls.

AFRICAN ADVENTURE

Highlights

We start off with Victoria Falls in all her glory and then fly in to the Kruger for some magic moments in the wild. Cape Town is next with indulging in city bistros and an early morning beach kayaking adventure. We end in the winelands, with picnics in vineyards and summer afternoons by the pool.

Our Solo Ladies Small-Groups are for adventurous women wanting to explore and spread their wings, sip bubbly at sunset, feel the energy that is Cape Town, dip their toes in the Indian Ocean, stroll through vineyards and experience the magic of a safari, sleeping under the African sky.
